They have made a name for themselves in their local Dundalk through sharing bills with the likes of Ham Sandwich, the Blizzards, the Electric Penguins, Driving By Night, Dry County, The Coronas and Delorentos. Also their inclusion in the IMRO Showcase Tour 2007 and the Jack Daniels Set 2007 raised their local profile. 2008 saw the band playing outside of their comfort zone with well recieved gigs in Dublin and Limerick city.
Blind Pilots were also selected for the National Student Music Awards.
