Huey And The Hobgoblins have spent the last 2 years transforming from a fledgling 3-piece to a venue-packing 10-piece blues/folk/retro-pop band. Their love for great music and good times soon cemented a lasting bond between the ten, which has become a visible part of the band's live performances.

Taking inspiration from their many and varied influences such as Crosby, Stills and Nash, Rory Gallagher, The Meters, Muddy Waters, Lalo Schifrin, The Band, Gomez, Miles Davis and Bob Dylan, The Hobgoblins have sculpted their sound into something somewhere between Paolo Nutini and The Commitments, with a blue note thrown into the mix.

The 'Goblins have already taken their unique live sound to festivals around Ireland such as Electric Picnic and Oxegen, making a name for themselves as a crowd pleasing good-time band playing catchy, upbeat and orignal tunes. They've earned regular gigs in venues like Dublin Twisted Pepper and Sean's Bar in Athlone, and seem to gather more momentum, believers and friends every step of the way.
