Dublin band New Amusement released their debut six track mini-album ‘Any Port In A Storm’ in April 2008 garnering glowing reviews from the likes of Hotpress, State, Alternative Ulster, and Artrocker magazines.


So far 2008 has seen the band go from strength to strength with triumphant sets at this year’s Oxegen and Hard Working Class Heroes festivals, as well as support slots with international acts such as Sons & Daughters, British Sea Power, Nada Surf, and Blood Red Shoes, and tours with established Irish favourites Ham Sandwich and Fight Like Apes.


The remainder of 2008 will be consumed with writing & recording for their debut album with lead single ‘Jamboree’ earmarked for release on 7 inch vinyl in late November.
