Vocalist, Producer and Ex-ScaryÉire MC, RíRá has been recording music for over 20 years. In the early 1990's ScaryÉire performed on stage with various established bands including Madness, The Beastie Boys, House Of Pain & U2, and were the first Irish hip hop act to sign a recording contract with a major label, (Island Records).
RíRá has also recorded with other artists like Tricky, Sly & Robbie, Sinéad Ó'Connor, and Rodney P. He has featured on a number of projects by the UK dub reggae legend Adrian Sherwood, including the film soundtrack for 'Johnny Was'. His song '25 O'Clock in the Mornin' has featured on several TV shows including the US crime series 'CSI:New York'. In 2009 RíRá released his debut solo album entitled 'Horses Work For Donkeys Wages' to critical acclaim.
