Dublin’s favourite rock outfit SIXTEEN LAYERS has spent the last couple of months gigging hard around Dublin to promote their debut album I Am No One, officially launched last March.

The album has already garnered high praise indeed from Hot Press’s Edwin McFee and James Hendicott in State.ie –

I Am No One has also been placed album of the week by Roddie Cleere of WLR FM and is also receiving a lot of love from Alan Jaques of Green & Live in Limerick.


With a short documentary by Ten Ways Media about the making of the album already in the can, SIXTEEN LAYERS will play The Sugar Club on June 12th. The plan is to premiere the doco before the boys take to the stage.


The summer ahead is chock full of radio PA’s and nationwide gigs including Limerick, Kilkenny, Athlone and Cork amongst others.


SIXTEEN LAYERS will also be launching their newly revamped www.sixteenlayers.com by the end of next week.
